Minority strategies initially have advantage: altruists succeed when rare (find each other in sea of egoists), ethnocentrics succeed when rare (exploit altruists while cooperating with themselves). Once common, ethnocentrics maintain dominance through spatial clustering. Chart shows fitness (reproduction rate) for each strategy over time.
