Planckian Locus
The curve shows the color of a perfect blackbody radiator as temperature changes. Candle light (~1800K) is warm orange, daylight (~6500K) is neutral white, and an overcast sky (~10000K) appears bluish.

Common illuminants are marked along the locus (D50, D65, etc.).
