Troitzky Line

Two knights alone cannot force checkmate. But with an enemy pawn, they can!

The Troitzky Line shows the maximum pawn advance for White to still win: a4-b6-c5-d4-e4-f5-g6-h4.

If the pawn is on or behind the line and blockaded by a knight, checkmate can be forced.
